Now, customers using the Sector Alarm System (SAS) can stay even more informed when arming their system. Thanks to a new notification feature, the app can alert customers if they arm or part-arm their alarm while a door or window remains open. The notification specifies exactly which entry point and were, whether it’s the kitchen window or the balcony door upstairs.

This update delivers practical benefits in situations that many customers face on a regular basis:

Busy mornings. When time is short, customers can quickly check whether all windows are closed without turning back.

Vacation readiness. Before heading out for a trip, it’s easy to confirm that every entry point is secure.

Pet safety. Knowing all doors are closed means peace of mind that pets stay safely indoors.

Customers can manage or disable these notifications in their app settings and decide whether to receive them by push, email, or both. It’s one more way Sector Alarm helps households stay connected, efficient, and confident that their homes are protected at all times.
